Minecraft Tip #4 secrets

Here are some things you might/might not know about Minecraft

  1. You can flip animals upside-down by naming them "dinnerbone" or "grumm"
  2. Zombies and Skeletons don't burn on soulsand
  3. You can make lava and water stream together by placing either one 1 block higher than the other
  4. Cactus can destroy items
  5. There is 1 in a 10.000 chance that the title screen will say "Minceraft" instead of "Minecraft"
  6. You can place paintings over doors and walk through them
  7. You can make sheeps change their colors constantly by naming them "jeb_" (must have the underscore)
  8. You cannot see a players name through a chest even if they are not crouching
  9. A creeper's body model is actually a glitched version of a pig's body model. But because Notch liked the look of it, he gave it a green color and a creepy sound, thus the famous creeper was born.
  10. In an unused area for the zombie pig man texture, the words "THX XAPHOBIA" can be seen. This was written by Notch to give credits and thanks to the original creator of the texture, XaPhobia.

Far Cry 4 Easter Eggs #2

Team Fortress 2

  • Heavy gunners sometimes say "cry some more" while in combat, likely a reference to the same line spoken by the heavy weapons guy.

Papers, Please

  • A message pinned to the wall at the border checkpoint contains a modified version of the first day's orders from Papers, Please with references to Arstotzka changed to Kyrat.

Predator

  • During the last mission of Hurk's redemption he will instruct you to go to the helicopter he marked on the map, then referencing a movie quote, "get to the chopper!".

Star Wars

  • The signature weapon HS77 is modeled after Han Solo's blaster from the Star Wars movies. HS77- Han Solo 1977, which happens to be the release year of the original Star Wars movie. Also in the guns description, "for quicker handling to ensure you always shoot first." Referencing the long contested debate of who shot first,Han or Greedo.

Honey Badger Viral Video

  • During the survival hunting quest involving De Pleur's slum infested with honey badgers, the soldiers fighting with you will reference the youtube video with dialogue stating that, "They just dont give a shit".
  • When hunting the rare honey badger, Ajay says, "That thing just didnt give a shit" referencing the online video.
  • Reference : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7wHMg5Yjg

Alternate Endings

  • At the beginning of the game, after Pagan Min has abducted the character and Darpan for a "dinner party" in De Pleur's fortress, it is possible to get a different and early ending to the game, created as a joke by Ubisoft. Once Pagan Min has left the room and told you to stay, if you wait at the table for roughly 15 minutes, he will return to the room and take you to a shrine to scatter the ashes of Ajay's mom. Once you are done at the shrine he will escort you back to his helicopter. The credits then roll.
  • Either within the first alternate ending, or in the regular ending, if you don't shoot Pagan Min, you can shoot his helicopter after he flies away after the shrine scene. This will create a new unique location of the helicopter crash site. You can go to this crash site after the credits. You will find the corpse of Pagan Min. When you loot him you will find his golden pen and 250.000 credits.

Various

  • After finishing all Yogi and Reggie missions you will receive a pipe from them. You will finde the pipe on a desk next to the door inside the Ghales house. If you use the pipe, you will suddenly wake up in a random location somewhere in Kyrat. This location will change every time.

Speed and the Matrix

  • In Hurk's last mission, the player is instructed to rescue Hurk by flying in on a helicopter and hijacking a truck (via the "vehicle takedown" skill, which is the only necessity the player needs for the mission), then drive the truck through a series of waypoints while maintaining minimum speed, or the truck will explode after a few seconds. At the end of the mission the player is instructed to jump out of the truck and let it explode. The entirety of the mission is a reference to the movie SPEED, where a bomb was placed on a city bus, that would explode if it dropped below 50 Mph. Hurk even references the actor from the film, Keanu Reeves, as well as another movie Reeves was in (The Matrix) when Hurk says "Dude! Be, like, my Keanu man. You can fly, right?"

Gladiator

  • In the arena the announcer might say "Are you not entertained?" which is a reference to the movie "Gladiator".

Robocop

  • The description for the A.J.M Pistol states the weapon "was last seen patrolling the streets of Detroit" and its name A.J.M. stands for Alex.J.Murphy who was the man who became Robocop

Minecraft Tip #2 Tool durability

Tool durability

The values in this table are the number of useful actions that a tool can perform.
GoldWoodStoneIronDiamond
Durability33601322511562
Gold tools destroy most blocks faster than any other type of tool. However, they can only collect blocks that can be harvested with wooden tools.
The next table shows how many uses remain in a tool, at the first moment its durability bar appears empty.
GoldWoodStoneIronDiamond
Durability2361061
  • Using a sword to mine blocks (including some for which they are the fast tool) counts as two uses.
  • Using a pickaxeaxe or shovel on the wrong type of block only counts as one use (but is slow), but attacking mobs counts as two.
  • hoe does not lose durability either mining blocks nor attacking mobs (but in either case, it's no better than bare hands). Its durability applies only to tilling dirt.
  • Carrot on a Stick has a durability of 26, Flint and Steel and Fishing Rods have a durability of 65, Shears have a durability of 239, and Bows have a durability of 385.
    • Like a hoe, each of these use durability only when used in their normal fashions.
    • Successfully catching a fish counts as one use of a fishing rod, reeling in the line while it is stuck to a block counts as two uses, and reeling in any mob counts as three uses. Casting into water and reeling in an "empty hook" does not cost durability.
    • Shears are only damaged when shearing a sheep and when breaking cobwebleavestall grasstripwire, and vines blocks.
  • Items with an Unbreaking Enchantment do not always lose durability when used; for a given enchantment level, the chance that they will use durability is 1 in (1+level). The result is that they will last an extra level times their original durability, give or take a few.

Mineraft Tip #1 Armor durability

Armor Durability
Armor durability is based on your armor types(head, torso, legs, feet) and materials(leather, iron, chain, gold, diamond) of the armor that you're wearing. Every time you take damage, you lose 1 point of your armors durability.

Armor durability only decreases when the player is taking damage from:
  • Direct attacks from players or mobs
  • Getting hit with flying projectiles(snowballs, fireballs from either ghasts or blazes, arrows, etc)
  • Touching blocks that can harm the player(lava, cactus, or fire)
  • Explosions
  • Thorns enchantment
Armor durability does NOT decrease when the player is taking damage from:
  • Suffocating
  • Drowning
  • Taking fall damage
  • Falling into the void
  • Poisoning
  • Damage from potion of harming
  • Ongoing damage by being on fire
The Table below represents the armor points of each armor pieces based on their materials

How to do the Duplication Glitch in Minecraft PE

This Glitch still works on Minecraft PE versions 0.9.0 - 0.10.4
All you need to do is just follow these instructions:

  1. Make a small chest (I don't know if it works with the Large ones)
  2. Put all of your items in another chest (put them all in your normal items chest, but not the chest you're going to use for this glitch) But keep the item you want to duplicate (only 1 item)
  3. Put the item you want to duplicate in the small chest
  4. Go back to the menu screen (not the home screen)
  5. Go back to your world
  6. Take the item from your chest
  7. Quit the game
  8. Remove the game from your Taskbar (The Multitasking bar)
  9. Play Minecraft PE
  10. Go back to your world and take the item in the small chest(There should be another one in your inventory and another one in the small chest)
  11. Then if you want more, press and hold on the empty box beside your item's box in the quickbar
  12. A "Pop" sound should play and another one of  your item (the same item) will be thrown out of your inventory
  13. Repeat Step 11-12 until you've reached the amount of items you wanted
  14. After your item is full, repeat the whole step
I hope this trick was helpful to you

Watch Dogs Easter Eggs

Here are some of the Easter Eggs i found while making this Blog:

Talking Moose

A talking moose head can be found in many locations in Watch_Dogs, such as in gun shops or bars. The moose could be a reference The Evil Dead II, in which a possesed moose head will begin to laugh maniacally.

Raving Rabbids

  • Remote controlled Raving Rabbids robots can be found throughout the game, including newsstands and homes.[1]
    • At a newsstand in the northeastern part of the Parker Square district, near the location of the "Made Man" Convoy side-mission.
    • During the "Big Brother" mission you can find a Rabbid in Jackson's room at Nicky's house.
    • There is one during the first mission in the Pawnee district in Act 3, behind the bar in Jed's.

Aisha Tyler

  • During the Campaign Mission "A Wrench in the Works", Aisha Tyler can be seen talking to another NPC. Aisha is a well-known voice actress that has worked on many films, TV shows, and games, including Halo: Reach andGears of War 3. She also appears in a hotel room or lounge talking on the phone. There is a City Hotspot in theCity Hall building in the Loop district, and near it an unmarked 'intrude' console you can hack. Do so to watch Aisha on the phone talking about farts and being followed.

Rapping fish

  • A singing wall-mounted trout can be found in the 'Texture Patch' clothes shop, in Parker Square district. Walk up to the fish and enjoy the song that follows. The fish is likely a reference to Gears of War 3, in which a singing trout can be found on a wall.

Hacked electronic signs

  • Electronic signs found throughout the city can be hacked to display a random message, usually a meme or reference to popular culture.
List of possible messages:

Official web page

  • *When you have entered Ubisoft official Blume home page http://www.chicago-ctos.com/ you can find in the source code that its stands "WATCH DOGS ARE WATCHING" with green characters.

Far Cry 4 Easter Eggs #1

Far Cry

  • The Gamebook piece of loot includes a reference to the original Far Cry game in its description. "In this riveting Choose A Path Adventure, YOUR choices determine if Jack Carver successfully escapes the deadly island of Dr. Krieger."
  • Hurk mentions one of his "tattoo bros" is Jack.

Far Cry 2

  • You will sometimes find malaria pills in loot, referencing Far Cry 2.
  • You will sometimes find conflict diamonds in loot, with the description describing that it comes from Bowa-Seko, a main location in Far Cry 2.
  • The GPS locator given to Ajay by Longinus in his first mission is the locator from Far Cry 2 with the screen smashed.
  • Longinus himself is implied to be either Leon Gakumba or Prosper Kouassi.

Far Cry 3

  • The Knock-Off GPS loot item's description refers to Rook Island, the location of Far Cry 3's events: "A cheap copy of an Elcano hand-held navigaton device. Comes pre-loaded with a map of Rook Island, wherever the hell that is."
  • In the Second mission with Willis he mentions, "You're not like the last So. Cal douchebag I babysitted during my last op." This is referring to Jason Brody.
  • The Maimed Wahine loot item's head may be Vaas Montenegro's. The description: "The hula girl's head has been replaced by an insane-looking man with a mohawk."
  • After completing one of the Armed Escort missions, which entails delivering a truckload of contraceptives and disease test kits, the driver remarks that "now we won't have to listen to those soldiers complain about how it burns when they piss". This likely refers to common pirate idle dialogue.
  • During meeting before attack Royal Palace, a Female Golden Parh Warrior use Rook Island map .
  • The description of the loot item "flash drive" states that it probably contains pornography and drug formulas. This may be a reference to the collectible memory cards in Far Cry 3, all of which were regarding drug formulas.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

  • After liberating or rescuing a local from Pagan's forces, a villager might say "Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast!". Referencing the popular quote that has also spawned a meme.

Breaking Bad

BioShock 2

  • The Hypodermic Needle loot item includes a reference to BioShock and its EVE Hypos in its description: "Filled with glowing liquid. If this were a failed underwater utopia, you wouldn't think twice about jamming this in your arm."

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

  • In one of the houses with Yalung mask murders and a part of supply delivery mission, you will find a dead man with a red plastic bucket on his head and an arrow stuck in his knee. Bucket on the head in a popular Skyrim user exploit, with "arrow in the knee" is the infamous Skyrim guard spoken line.

Game of Thrones

  • The 'Photo of a Dwarf 2' loot item has the description "A picture of a naked dwarf with a nasty facial scar. Winter's not the only thing coming." This is an obvious reference to Tyrion Lannister, a dwarf who received a face wound during the Battle of Blackwater. It also references the motto of House Stark, 'Winter is Coming'
